We made a quick trip to see Scott at Brass Coffee Sound not long ago. Among all the studio gear was this recent Gretsch Country Gentleman. A lot of players will immediately pull the pickups on these and put in TV Jones rather than the stock Filtertrons, which is generally a good move.
On the other hand, they were good enough for the Beatles' albums. Hard to predict how soon any of us will be recording something more significant than the Beatles.
